Any call that your AI receptionist answers and has a conversation with counts as one AI-handled call. Very short calls (under 10 seconds, like hangups) don't count against your limit.
You'll be charged for overage at your plan's rate. Voice overages: $0.25/min for Solo, $0.18/min for Pro, $0.15/min for Scale. SMS overages: $0.03/msg for Solo, $0.025/msg for Pro, $0.02/msg for Scale. We notify you at 80% and 100% of your limit so there are no surprises.
